Retention

Retention in VisualDrive Server determines how long deleted items and previous versions of files are kept before they are permanently removed.

How retention works

Deleted items stay in the Recycle Bin until the retention period ends, after which they cannot be recovered. Previous file versions are also kept for the same duration.

Your administrator sets the retention period and may allow or prevent manual deletion of items or versions before that time. By default, deleted items and previous versions are kept for 90 days.
