Drives
Drive in VisualDrive Server is a top-level container that holds files and folders. Drives are the primary way content is organized in VisualDrive Server.
Each drive is independent, with its own folder hierarchy and permissions. Drives can be accessed through the web interface or synced to your device via the OneDrive app.
Drive types
VisualDrive Server supports the following drive types:
Personal drive
A personal drive is your own private storage space. By default, only you can access it. You may choose to share specific items, but everything else remains visible only to you. Each user has exactly one personal drive.
Shared drive
A shared drive is intended for group or project collaboration. Multiple users can access it, and permissions determine what actions each user can take.
You need to have the Drive Operator role assigned by the administrator to create, rename, or delete shared drives.
